Protect
Give people tools to quickly document situations when they feel unsafe, without needing to think about how the app works.

Protect. Connect. Inform. Three words that decide what gets built — and what doesn't.
Most people have had at least one moment where they wished there was a record of what just happened. A conversation that turned. A stop on an empty road. A walk home that felt wrong.
In that moment, the tools most people have are the ones they can't operate: a camera app several taps away, a phone that needs unlocking, a recording that lives only on a device that could be taken, broken or lost.
iWatch exists to close that gap. Start fast, capture cleanly, get the file somewhere safe, and be able to find it again. That's the whole product.
Our principles
Give people tools to quickly document situations when they feel unsafe, without needing to think about how the app works.
Give people quick access to emergency resources and the safety information that matters in the moment.
Securely preserve documentation that can help establish what occurred, and be honest about its state at all times.
The rule we hold ourselves to
Trust and technical accuracy are the brand. If iWatch cannot verify something, iWatch will not say it — not in the app, not on this website, not in an advertisement.
iWatch is being built as a scalable personal-safety platform for individuals, parents, teenagers, college students, seniors, travellers, rideshare passengers, employees, families and communities.
Version one focuses on doing the core workflow extremely well — activate, record, secure, retrieve — before anything else is added. Everything after that has to be secure, simple, fast and trustworthy, or it doesn't ship.
